MDS or Master of Dental Surgery is a specialized course where the stress is given on the oral, jaw, dental section, and other facial features. The course duration of the MDS course is 3 years. Medical graduates in Dental Science can apply for this course. However, in some colleges yearlong internship experience is obligatory with a bachelor’s degree in Dental Science. For MDS admission, aspirants must clear the entrance examinations such as NEET MDS, AIIMS PG, AIPGDEE, and so on. The entrance examination can be state or national level.
