NEET PG

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) is a pivotal examination for medical graduates in India, serving as the gateway to postgraduate medical courses such as MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB programs. Administered by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), NEET PG 2025 is provisionally scheduled for June 15, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for NEET PG 2025, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Possess an MBBS degree or a provisional pass certificate recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
• Internship Completion: Complete a one-year internship on or before July 31, 2025. 
• Registration: Hold a valid registration certificate from the NMC or State Medical Council (SMC).

Foreign Medical Graduates must have passed the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) and completed their internship by the specified date. Foreign nationals are exempt from NMC registration but must provide proof of registration in their home country. 

Application Process

The application process for NEET PG 2025 is entirely online. Candidates can follow these steps:

• Registration: Visit the official NBE website and create an account using a valid email ID and mobile number.
• Fill Application Form: Enter personal, educational, and internship details. Choose preferred exam centers and upload scanned documents, including a photograph, signature, and thumb impression.
• Pay Application Fee: The fee can be paid online via debit/credit card or net banking. The fee structure is as follows:

General/OBC/EWS: ₹4,250

SC/ST/PWD: ₹3,250

• Submit and Print: Review all details carefully, submit the form, and take a printout for future reference.
• A correction window will be available in May 2025 for candidates to rectify errors in their application forms.

Declaration of Results	By 15th July 2024
Counselling	5th August 2024 – 15th October 2024
Start of Academic Session	16th September 2024
Last Date of Joining the Academic Session	21st October 2024
Last date for Completion of Internship	15th August 2024

According to the notice, NEET PG Counselling will begin on 5th August 2024 and will end on 15th October 2024. Furthermore, the academic session for NEET PG will commence on 16th September 2024. The last date to join the academic session is 21st October 2024. The commission also stated the last date of completion of the internship for NEET PG is 21st October 2024.
