NEET UG 2024 Supreme Court Hearing: Updates and Key Points
Stay updated on the latest developments in the NEET UG 2024 Supreme Court hearing. Learn about the key points discussed and the anticipated verdict.

The Supreme Court of India has resumed its hearing on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024. The case is being heard by a bench that includes Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala, and Justice Manoj Mishra. It is anticipated that the Supreme Court will deliver its verdict today.

During the July 18 hearing, the Supreme Court directed the National Testing Agency (NTA) to publish the NEET UG 2024 results on its website. To protect the privacy of candidates, the court mandated that the results should mask the identities of candidates, both city-wise and center-wise.

The Supreme Court emphasized that an order to conduct NEET UG 2024 again would only be issued if there was clear evidence that the integrity of the entire examination was compromised. In the same hearing, Chief Justice Chandrachud questioned the feasibility of solving 180 questions and preparing answers within 45 minutes, challenging the argument presented by the Solicitor General.

The hearing is set to continue tomorrow, and the education community is keenly awaiting the final decision. This verdict will have significant implications for thousands of medical aspirants across India.
