The Karnataka NEET Counselling 2024 process is now advancing into its second round, providing candidates with an opportunity to secure a better seat. Those who were allotted a medical seat in the first round and opted for Choice 2 need to take specific steps to confirm their seat allotment. If you have chosen a Government Medical seat in a Private Medical College or a Private Medical seat in a Private Medical College, it is essential to deposit your original documents along with two sets of photocopies at the KEA office in Bangalore.

The document submission process will follow a strict rank-wise schedule, starting from September 9, 2024, to September 12, 2024. Candidates should arrive at their designated reporting time as per the schedule:

• September 9, 2024: All India Rank 1 to 30,000 (Forenoon Session-1), subsequent ranks will follow in the later sessions of the day.
• September 10, 2024: All India Rank 30,001 to 60,000.
• September 11, 2024: All India Rank 60,001 to 90,000.
• September 12, 2024: All India Rank 90,001 to the Last Rank.

Moving forward, the second round of Karnataka NEET Counselling 2024 comes with its own set of important dates and procedures. Here’s what candidates need to keep in mind:

• Display of Seat Matrix: The updated seat matrix, including seats under Choice 3, Choice 4, forfeited, canceled, and newly added seats, will be displayed on September 8, 2024, after 11:00 a.m.
• Payment of Caution Deposit: Candidates need to pay a caution deposit of ₹1,00,000 (₹50,000 for SC/ST candidates) from September 9 to September 11, 2024, during banking hours.
• Rearrangement of Options: From September 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. until September 11, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., candidates can modify, delete, or reorder their options. This is a crucial period to ensure that your choices reflect your preferred medical colleges and courses.

It is important to note that any consequential vacancies that arise during the allotment process will be offered in the second round itself.
