NEET UG Counseling 2024: Stray Vacancy Round Guidelines by MCC
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released important guidelines for the Stray Vacancy Round of NEET UG Counseling 2024. This round is for candidates without a seat in All India Quota or State Quota. However, candidates who didn’t join their allotted seat in Round 3 are not eligible, except for those who didn’t report.
Those who have joined a seat under State Quota cannot participate in this round. Note that candidates who don’t take the seat allotted in this round will lose their security deposit and be barred from NEET 2025. The MCC will share data on those who join Stray
Vacancy seats with state counseling authorities to avoid duplicate admissions.
