The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has commenced the registration process for students aiming to secure admission to MBBS and BDS programs for the 2024 session. Admissions will be based on NEET UG 2024 scores for medical colleges across Punjab.

Important Dates for NEET UG 2024 Admissions:

• Prospectus Availability: The prospectus is available on the university website starting from August 9, 2024.
• Registration Deadline: The last date to apply online for admission is August 15, 2024.
• Fee Payment: Candidates must pay the registration fee of Rs. 5,900 (inclusive of GST) or Rs. 2,950 (for SC candidates) by August 16, 2024.
• Sports Category Submission: Sports category candidates need to submit the printed copy of their online application, along with the Sports Gradation Certificate and other documents, in person at the university by August 16, 2024.
• Minority Quota Verification: Christian Minority quota candidates must attend the verification at Christian Medical College, Ludhiana, from August 9 to 17, 2024. Sikh Minority quota candidates need to report to SGRD Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Amritsar, from August 16 to 18, 2024.
• NRI Quota Submission: NRI candidates must submit their physical application forms by August 19, 2024.

Counseling Schedule:

• Choice Filling: The choice filling for the first round of online counseling will take place from August 10 to 24, 2024.
• Seat Allotment: Processing of seat allotments will be done from August 25 to 27, 2024, with results being announced on August 28, 2024.
• Objections: Candidates can submit objections to the provisional allotment list by August 29, 2024.
• Physical Reporting: Provisionally allotted candidates must physically report to their respective colleges and pay the tuition fee between August 31 and September 5, 2024.
