Reduction in Qualifying Percentile of NEET-PG 2024 Announced
The qualifying percentile for NEET-PG 2024 has been reduced as per the Ministry of Health’s directive. Check the revised criteria and key updates.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced a reduction in the qualifying percentile of NEET-PG 2024 following the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare’s directive.

New Qualifying Percentile for NEET-PG 2024

• General/EWS: 5th percentile
• UR-PwBD: 5th percentile
• SC/ST/OBC (including PwBD of SC/ST/OBC): 5th percentile

Despite this change, NEET-PG 2024 ranks and percentile scores, declared on August 23, 2024, remain unchanged. Candidates must still meet other eligibility criteria outlined in the NEET-PG 2024 Information Bulletin. This decision is expected to provide relief to many aspirants seeking admission to MD, MS, DNB, DrNB (Direct 6 years), and NBEMS Diploma courses for the 2024-25 session.
