WB NEET UG 2024 Update: Cancellation of Stray Vacancy Round and Revised Minimum Marks for PWD Candidates
The West Bengal NEET UG 2024 Counseling has recently seen some important updates. The previously mentioned "Physical Stray Vacancy Round" on page 13, point E of the counseling notice has been officially canceled. This round will no longer be a part of the counseling process.
Additionally, for PWD category candidates, the required minimum marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) have been lowered from 50% to 40% following NMC and DCI regulations.
All concerned candidates are advised to take note of these changes.
In related news, the IPGMER in Kolkata has been tasked with arranging a Medical Board to verify and certify the eligibility of PWD candidates for the NEET UG 2024 under the 21 benchmark disabilities as per the Disabilities Act 2016. This process will take place on the 22nd and 23rd August 2024.
