The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the release of the provisional answer keys, scanned images of OMR answer sheets, and recorded responses for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) – 2024 (NEET UG 2024). Conducted on May 5, 2024, the exam saw participation from over 24 lakh candidates across 4750 centers in 571 cities, including 14 international locations. Candidates can now review and challenge the provisional answer keys on the official NTA website from May 29, 2024, to May 31, 2024, until 11:50 PM. Each challenge requires a non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 per answer or question.

To assist candidates, the NTA has emailed the scanned images of OMR answer sheets to the registered email addresses provided during the application process. Challenges against the OMR grading can also be submitted with a ₹200 processing fee per question.
The challenge payment can be made via debit card, credit card, or net banking. No challenges will be considered without the processing fee, and submissions through other modes will not be accepted.
A panel of subject experts will review the challenges. The answer key will be revised and applied universally if a challenge is found valid. The final answer key will determine the results, which will be announced subsequently. Candidates will not receive individual notifications regarding the acceptance of their challenges.
