Admission

JIMSH provides medical courses for undergraduate, postgraduate, paramedical, and diploma. However, one must clear NEET UG for MBBS admission and the admission to MD/MS course depends on the result of NEET PG. A student’s score in the Joint Entrance Exam decides the admission process to BSc Nursing at JIMSH. For GNM and Paramedical courses, a candidate must qualify for HSC or equivalent examination.

  • To secure direct MBBS admission at JIMSH, candidates have to register and sit for the NEET-UG exam conducted by NTA.
  • Depending on the NEET-UG scores, aspirants need to get involved in the counseling process for both WB State Quota and Pvt. Management Quota and need to register on the website of WBMCC.
  • Next, the aspirants are required to do the choice-based filling and choice-locking so that the seats can be allotted accordingly.
  • At the choice-locking stage, candidates must select JIMSH, Kolkata as their chosen medical college.
